The Château
Le Château du Broutel dates back to 1714 and is situated in over 40 acres of beautiful grounds. In addition to the main Château building the estate comprises of extensive outbuildings, two large houses and a newly refurbished £1million West Wing comprising of 30 en suite bedrooms. In 2005 we invested over £500,000 into the Normandy Complex providing another 15 en suite bedroom accommodation. A superb patio overlooks our private lake and the manicured lawns with 100 year old chestnuts providing a spectacular back drop.
Location
Le Château du Broutel is situated on the edge of the small historical town of Rue. Originally established as a Roman outpost, it grew in prosperity in the 6th Century due to its port and later became the capital of the region. It is located 5 minutes off the A16 motorway which links Calais - Amiens - Paris.
